Please fix this app! I love the American Bee Journal
Cant log in, cant get downloads, still takes your money. Too bad as the online articles are great. No response from app maker.
Sloooooow to load. Worse yet, once youve loaded the issue you must stay active in the app. If you walk away to get coffee or take a call you must again reload the issue which gives ample time to get more coffee and make a sandwich. The articles excellent and the app works fine once an issue is loaded. Publisher Dadant needs to up their game and spring for better software and delivery.
The content is great, but the app is the most frustrating app I have ever seen. Please fix it, ABJ!
Cant get app to load mag. Very very very very sloooooooooow. I fell asleep waiting for the app just to load. Please fix it I get the hard copy and its GREAT!
Good magazine, but it seems that when they scan it, some pages are nice and sharp and others are a little fuzzy
It is nice getting this in a digital format. Would have given it 5 stars but It missed down loading several pages. I wonder if it is just my iPod.... Any ways great job
Love the app, love the magazine .
This has got to be the worst experience I have had with purchasing a digital magazine on my iPad. I registered then when I try to read the magazine it keeps asking me to register again and will not let me open or buy the mag. My subscription is active and I see the august addition but will not let me read. Tried to reinstall. Nothing. Sent numerous emails with no reply
The ABJ newsstand app is just like reading a magazine. It is night and day better than trying to use the digital version on an iPad or iPhone. One of these days as ABJ gets better it would be great if it was designed like the Popular Science Magazine. Thank you for your progress.
A must for anyone interested in beekeeping
Needless to say the printed version of American Bee Journal is brilliant, however, their app version is darn near impossible to read! Why? Because the font is quite small and unfocused but when you enlarge the font it becomes even more blurred and horrible to try to read. I am so disappointed in this app. I had subscribed to the web version prior to the app and it had the same problems....Blue Toad (their digital content provider) needs to get its act together! This could be a five star app magazine IF they address the font focus problem until then I am glad I only subscribed per issue. I have emailed American Bee Journal (Blue Toad) about this problem but I guess I got lost in the shuffle and have not heard back so hopefully they will respond to this review.
Just as nice as having the paper version. Added benefit of being able to click on the ads and go to advertisers websites.
Great source of information for the newbie. I live in NC and learning a lot from my downloads of your magazine. It would be nice to have a state section in your digital section since space is not a problem talking about what is going on in your state and what to be watching for at that time of the year for newbies like myself. I do very much enjoy my new hobby and your magazine. Look forward to my next down load.
I like this app except for one thing. The font is to small and when you enlarge it, it becomes fuzzy. If the could fix that problem this would be a five star app.
ABJ stays on topic and is most informative about current events.
Good content, good access to vendors and ads but poor readability due to font sizing. Same comments as most other readers - that needs fixing badly.
This s a good app but is a bit unstable. I purchased an annual subscription over the Internet, which this app would not recognize so I purchased it again through the app itself. Some bugs obviously but overall very good.
If the layout was specifically for the iPad it would be easier to read, as it is I have to do a lot of pinching and such. I still prefer it to the print edition by a mile!
